💪💪Trainer tip Tuesday 💪💪 Carissa will be teaching the some key movements she incorporates for better shoulder mobility!
1st - We have Stephanie, to help us navigate through the movements. She will perform a banded pass-through by keeping her core tight, with straight arms shrug the shoulders slightly as you sweep the band up and overhead landing as far to the back of the body as mobility allows, she completes the movement by bringing the band back up through neutral overhead and landing back at the hip crease.
2nd - She will perform a banded pull apart. Again, arms straight or as straight as possible, inhale, core tight, use the strength of the scapular plane between the shoulder blades to pull the band tight across the chest and then slowly return to the start point keeping the band and arms parallel to the ground at all times.
Go through three sets of each, 10 to 12 reps of each, to build a little heat and work your mobility-before your next workout.

@lfarrell40 discusses the proper technique of deadlifting. First start with your feet shoulder width apart, hinge at the hip, reach down and grab the bar. Keep your shoulders back, chest out, and chin tucked to ensure a neutral spine and flat back. Pull the bar, send your hips forward, squeeze your glutes and abs, holding the bar at the top for a second. Hinge your hips to lower the bar back to the floor and do it again!!
